Last chance to win a mini iPad or $400!
Did you know your opinions could win you a mini iPad or $400? Last month, you received an email from an independent research firm, SatisFacts, to complete an online survey on how Corvias Military Living is doing.
You should have received the instructions by now. So be sure to double check your mail for a postcard and your email for the survey link from “residentsurveys.com”. The email subject is titled “Corvias Military Resident Satisfaction Survey”, and the deadline to complete the survey is mid-November. Participation is voluntary, but we hope you will provide feedback as Corvias strives to improve your experience as a resident. Everyone who participates will be entered to win a prize. Contact your community office for more information.
Foundation applications coming soon
Need money for college? Corvias Foundation applications for $50,000 college scholarships for military children, and applications for $5,000 educational grants for military spouses will be available after November 1 at corviasfoundation.org.
Test your heater today
Don’t be left out in the cold - test your heater today! Keep in mind, when using your heater for the first time this season, you may detect a smoke-like odor. This smell is caused by the dust that has accumulated in your unit during the summer months and will usually dissipate within a few minutes. Please do not call 911 unless you actually see smoke or flames.
Refer-A-Friend Program
Get rewarded for telling your friends about the benefits of living on post.
Refer a friend who meets on-post residency requirements for any home type and when he/she signs a 12-month lease and moves into a Fort Bragg home, you will receive a referral reward of $150 for the first referral. A second referral will receive $200 and for a third referral you will receive $250. After the third referral, the cycle will start over.
This referral program is now applicable to all ranks and home types.
New applicants must list the name and contact information (phone and permanent mailing address) of his or her referral source on the applicable paperwork at the time of application. He/she may also provide the name and contact information of the referral source upon first visit or call to a Corvias Community or Leasing Center.
Previous Corvias residents are not eligible to be referred at this time. Additional restrictions may apply. For more information about our Refer-A-Friend Program, please contact your Corvias Community Office.
Yard-of-the-Month in fall and winter
Congratulations to the winners of Fall Yard-of the-Month! Each winner will receive a recognition letter from the Fort Bragg Garrison Commander, a Yard-of-the-Month sign to be displayed in front of their home, and a gift certificate. Don’t forget – Winter Yard-of-the-Month will be judged on December 10. For more information, check your next Corvias Community News e-newsletter!
Child supervision guidelines
As the holidays near, please remember that the Fort Bragg Child Supervision Guidelines (a.k.a. the Home Alone Policy) requires that children aged 10 and under be directly supervised by an adult at all times, including while waiting at bus stops or walking to or from school. If needed, CYSS offers a variety of supervised after-school activities. For more information, call CYSS at (910) 396-1278. Fees are based on total family income.

Friendly community reminders
- Please remember to return your trash carts to your home no later than 5 p.m. on your trash collection day. We appreciate your cooperation!
- We kindly ask that you do not attach solicitations or other information on mail kiosks or poles. Thank you!
- When cleaning up after cooking, please do not discard fats, oils or grease down sinks, drains or garbage disposals. Over time, these substances can harden along sewer lines causing blockages and unsanitary sewer backups.
Green corner
