Message from the Business Director - Your opinion could be worth one month’s FREE rent!
We want to hear from you! Comments and feedback from you – our residents – helps us know what we should continue to do and what areas we can improve to continue to meet your housing needs.
Every year, the HQDA RCI (Residential Communities Initiatives) conducts their Resident Satisfaction Survey via e-mail. This year, the survey will run from May 5th – June 6th at all Corvias Military Living Army locations. Please click here to read the attached memo from Lieutenant General, David D. Halverson, IMCOM Commander and GS Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. This important survey will help ensure the continued success of the RCI program in meeting your needs and will help guide the Army and Corvias in the development of future improvements to our homes and services. This survey will be administered through a third party, CEL & Associates, Inc. (CEL). The survey results are confidential, so please express your true opinions and thoughts. All residents who complete the survey will be entered to win one grand prize of one month’s FREE rent!
Make sure that we have your correct email address to ensure that you receive your survey. Click here to update your contact information. Don’t wait – update today!
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your continuing service to our great nation. If you have any questions please call your community center.
Sincerely,
Mark Foraker
Business Director

Yard of the month returns in June
Break out the gardening gloves! Yard of the month has returned. As we did last year, the Fort Bragg Garrison will recognize the contest in June and July (summer yard of the month), October (fall yard of the month), and December (winter yard of the month). Holiday decorations will be considered, though not mandatory, when judging in October and December.
The yard of the month program will reward those who make a special effort to improve their yard and beautify their home while remaining in compliance with housing and post regulations. These regulations include Fort Bragg’s lawn watering guidelines as well as the regulations outlined in Corvias Military Living’s Resident Responsibility Guide. Please contact your Community Office for a copy of this guide.
In consideration of varying community sizes and home types, two to four summer yard of the month winners will be selected in each community for June and July. Of the June and July yard of the month winners, one Yard of Excellence winner will be selected as the best of Fort Bragg. One winner will be named per community in October and December. Regardless of the month, each yard of the month winner will receive a recognition letter from the Fort Bragg Garrison Commander, a yard of the month sign to be displayed in front of the home, and gift certificates.
Judging and Rules:
- Judging will be conducted by the 10th of the month. The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) will perform the judging and select winners. No Corvias employees will take part in judging.
- To be eligible to participate, yards must be in full compliance with requirements set forth in the Corvias Military Living Resident Responsibility Guide.
- June winners will be notified the first week of July. July winners will be notified the first week of August. October winners will be notified by the 17th of month. December winners will be notified by the 16th of the month. A resident may win only once during the 2016 Yard of the Month program.
What you may not know about your cooling system
Heat pumps are widely used across the South and other temperate climates. During the summer, a heat pump absorbs heat from inside and releases it outside, cooling the interior in the process. Heat pumps in Fort Bragg homes are designed to keep the interior temperature 15 to 20 degrees below the outside temperature. Turning the thermostat lower will not lower the interior temperature below this 20 degree threshold.
This is completely normal and doesn’t mean that your cooling system isn’t working properly. In periods of extreme heat, you may need to take active steps to help your home maintain a comfortable temperature. Setting the fan switch on your thermostat to “auto”, and changing your air filter(s) every 30 days will help your home remain a comfortable temperature regardless of the season.
We recommend that you test out your air conditioner before the weather heats up. If you have any concerns about your system working properly, do not hesitate to place a work order to have it evaluated by calling the work order hotline at 1-866-206-1365. You can also complete work order via:
- E-mail: email via your community center email address
- Website: bragg.corviasmilitaryliving.com
- In-person at the Community Office
As the weather continues to warm up, please, keep in mind the following response times for air conditioning work orders:
- When the outside temperature is below 84, the ticket is considered “urgent” with a 48 hours response time.
- If the outside temperatures exceed 85 degrees, the work order is an “emergency” with a 4 hour response time.
Please help keep the community looking great
Starting April 15, all Corvias communities implemented a weekly community beautification project to help keep your communities looking great. Be on the lookout for eblasts letting you know in what areas we’ll be working. This is a great opportunity to show your pride in your community and Ft. Bragg while getting to know your Corvias Military Living Team and neighbors better. Keeping our community looking great is a team effort. It may not be your trash on the ground but picking it up and disposing of it properly helps keep your community looking great.
Rubbish, refuse, and recycling days are offered once a week for all of our communities. If you are unsure of your trash day please contact your community center or visit your community calendar. Remember to bring out your trash cans and recycling bins from your home for curbside pickup no earlier than the evening before your trash day. Please bring your trash cans and recycling bins back to your home at the end of each designated trash day. Do not place trash cans and recycling bins on streets and sidewalks. Help us to maintain the curb appeal of our communities and also ensure that pedestrians are able to utilize the sidewalks at all times. Excess and abandoned bins will be tagged and removed from the area if residents do not pull them back from the curb in a timely manner.
Your community managers also welcome residents who would like to discuss specific concerns or questions.
